New! Water Level in One Easy Reading!
The new AquiStar PT12-BV sensor is the first in the industry to offer automatic barometric compensation for water level data. Now you can sustain precision readings without the need to adjust calculations or return to the well for maintenance. Simply attach a PT12 submersible absolute pressure sensor and receive automatically adjusted pressure data. No vented cable, no desiccant tubes.
PT12-BV Barometric/Vacuum Smart Sensor Details
Available in either a weatherproof box or 316 stainless tube, INW’s AquiStar® PT12-BV barometric pressure sensor represents the latest in state-of-the-art pressure measurement technology. This sensor features an SDI12 (v.1.3) interface and a Modbus® RTU interface that makes this product easy to connect to recorders and existing monitoring networks. This makes it a preferred choice for many environmental professionals with existing SDI-12 or Modbus® RTU systems.
The PT12-BV offers optional automatic barometric compensation for a connected absolute pressure sensor. (SDI-12 interface only.) Connect the PT12-BV to an absolute PT12 submersible pressure sensor and automatically get barometrically compensated pressure readings. No need to use a vented cable or worry about maintaining desiccant tubes.
This device offers great noise immunity, thermal performance, and transient protection. In addition, this device returns temperature and time data and operates on low power.

Available in either box or tube versions. The tube version can easily be installed in the well-head of a 2″ well, operates for years on its low-power 3.6 V lithium battery, and includes a built-in GPRS modem. Ideal for groundwater monitoring, it comes standard with four analog inputs.
